UCB SPIM - Windows NT binary distribution
Phil Buonadonna
<philipb@cs.Berkeley.EDU>
ported the UC Berkeley SPIM to Windows NT using the Cygwin toolkit
(version b20). We have precompiled binaries available, suitable for
single-workstation installations or home use. To use this version:
Download the file:
or (on our EECS Instructional Unix systems):
~spim/public_html/precompiled/MS-Windows/spim.zip
and extract its contents into a new folder named
"C:\Program Files\spim" on your computer.
Other paths will not work, because SPIM expects a file
"C:\Program Files\spim\trap.handler"
to exist on your computer.
A windowing version of SPIM is not currently available for Windows NT;
this version runs in a Command Prompt window.
