Grading:The grading will be based on 6 homework assignments worth 30%, a midterm worth 25%, a project worth 10% and a final exam worth 35% of the final grade. Grades will be posted on this website. All homework assignments will be posted on the class web. Solutions will be mailed to the students as soon as his/her work is received. The assignments are due according to the syllabus. Be sure to have them postmarked by the dates indicated. Homework may be submitted in their hardcopy form or FAX. The hard copy of submission must be postmarked by the due date. The FAX needs to arrive by 5 p.m. (Pacific time) on the due date provided you first call in and make sure someone in the Cal View office will be able to receive it. If you FAX it without someone to receive it, it may get misplaced or may not be received until the following business day (and thus deemed late). Late homework will lose 20% credit for each day that it is late. It will get no credit if late by 5 or more days. |
