EECS Labs in CITRIS
planned occupancy: Summer 2009

 	In 200 CITRIS (about 960 sq ft, 30 workstations), either:

	CS SelfPaced Center from C10 HFA (900 sq ft) -> 200A CITRIS (540 sq ft)
	CS61A from C50 HFA (45 SunRays) -> 271 Soda (35 SunRays)
	CS16*, CS18*, etc from 273 Soda -> 277 Soda (16 SunRays) + 349 Soda (??)

	and 

	CS3L from C30 HFA (35 SunRays) -> 273 Soda (34 SunRays)
	CS61C/CS61CL from 271 Soda (35 SunRays) -> 200 CITRIS (32 workstations)
  

	For 200 CITRIS:
	--------------

	1) Networking: Run 3 45' cable trays (along 2 walls and overhead 
	   across the middle of the room), and along the east wall (22').
	
	2) Air Conditioning: I believe CITRIS will supply air conditioning 
	   and run ducts into the room.  But if not, we may have to install 
	   the ducts.
	
	3) Electrical: I believe CITRIS will pay for running it to 
	   workstations along the walls.  But I'll also need to get it to 
	   the center, preferably from an overhead cable tray, and make 
	   that look good.
	
	4) Durable floor tiles.
	
	5) White wall paneling and/or paint;  need to hang posters.
	
	6) Durable shades over the west wall, 3 windows and 2 doors.
	
	7) Projector screen mounts over west wall/window.
	
	8) White board over west wall/window, perhaps on a slide track like 
	   a double-hung window.
	
	9) Cardkey reader on west door.
	
	10) Glass door between 200 and 200A CITRIS (I believe Scott S said 
	    CITRIS will do this).
	
	11) Drop-down ceiling panels, lighting (negotiable).
	
	12) Security camera (negotiable).

	13) Computers, printer, projector, Lab benches

	14) Campus phone


	For 200A CITRIS:

	the same needs as 200 CITRIS, mostly 

  

	February 2009: CITRIS opens and we can start this work.
	June 2009:  use by CS61C Summer Session class (optional)
