SPIM: UC Berkeley's version of SPIM

Instructions

Installing Mac OS X SPIM: First, copy the spim Mac OS X disk image file to your hard disk. To add SPIM to your system, double click on the disk image file, and a disk called spimMacOSX will appear on your Desktop. Open it, and follow the instructions in the README file there.

DMG Fixer: Some users have reported that the dmg file above appears as text in their WEB browser rather than being downloaded to their hard drive. There is a free repair utility called "DMG Fixer" that is for MacOSX systems that erroneously treat "dmg" files as text.

You can also read the README file (RTF format, open with TextEdit) on the CD.

Sources: We have included the UCB modified SPIM sources on the CD.

Visit the Mac OS X spim web site for the latest releases and instructions.
