Tutebot Project
Project
Information
Analog Tutebot Information:
-
Chassis
Assembly Instructions
-
The Tutebot circuit which you will build is a slightly modified
version of the circuit described in Appendix 3 (see Figure 2.13):
-
Instead of bipolar transistors, you will use MOSFETs (which
you studied in Experiment #9).
-
See Tutebot
Circuit Tips for a helpful detailed circuit schematic.
Additional Information:
-
You may choose to endow your Tutebot with additional functionality.
See the additional handout "Adding Sensors to your Tutebot" for ideas.
-
You must demonstrate a minimally functional Tutebot by
the end of your final lab session in order to pass the course.
-
The Tutebot must move forward in a fairly straight path.
-
The Tutebot must back up and turn upon colliding with an
object, and then proceed to move forward again.
-
Upon completion of the project, students should disassemble
their Tutebots and return their kits to the TA, in order to receive their
deposit checks back.
