Review Session: Tuesday, April 22, 2003, in 100 Lewis from 7-9pm.
Extra office hours for Prof. Ross: all day Tuesday until 7pm; Wednesday and Thursday TBA (dropping by doesn't hurt).
NO CHEAT SHEET. I will give you an equation sheet listing all the ID/VDS equations, and when each mode is valid, as well as equations for resistance and capacitance for gate delay.
Calculator highly recommended; try to bring one with at least a square root key in case triode mode comes up. Points taken off for missed calculations will be minimal, but you know that with these circuits, not recognizing the mode because of a missed calculation can lead to a lot of unnecessary work.

Midterm 2 Review Session Tuesday, March 18, , 277 Cory Hall
You may bring one sheet of notes to the exam.
Prof. Ross will be in her office or the conference room across the hall from 11 am to 7 pm (with a food break from 3-4pm) to help you.
The exam will cover approximately the same material as the review problems. Expect to see the same topics: an op-amp analysis problem, op-amp design problem, gate delay timing diagram, digital logic implementation and basic simplification (optimal simplification will not be required), diode circuit operation. There will be a secret, more difficult design problem worth 10 points (so you earn your "A"). Hint: you may want to use a comparator, so I reviewed its operation in the last review problem. There will also be a multiple choice section with qualitative questions about diode physics and p-n junction from Lecture 13.
