On EECS MATLAB Licensing for class use:

We have Matlab, Simulink and several toolkits for EECS classes on all of the EECS Instructional computers.  There is usage information for the students in http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/pub.cgi?file=matlab.help.

Our software is listed in http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/software.

Every student in an EECS class can have an account on our computers.  Most EECS majors have accounts already.  Any EE230 student who does not have an account can get by following the instructions in http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/connecting.html#accounts.
