here are the answers to some general
questions about the grades:

1. homework grades will be given base on not only on the correct
answer, but also on your understanding towards the problem.

2. For everyone, the lowest homework grade won't be count when giving the
final grade.

3. The final grades will be graded on curve, which means the final grades
are relative grades, instead of the actual grades.

4. The curve that will be used to shape the final grades are built
based on only the grades of the undergrads, which implies how graduates
perform won't affect undergrads.

5. Homework is allowed to be discussed in group, but you should write out
the solution by yourself. If you have questions towards the homework,
please, come to the professor's and TA's office hours, or post it on the
news group, or send an e-mail to TA to setup an appointment.
