Lab 3 will be a formal lab. Please read the lab manual and be well prepared with your Prelab before attending your lab section. A color version of Lab 3 procedure is posted here.

For problem 1, you are asked to find "impedance" of the circuit -- NOT "gain". For problem 2, you are asked to find "mobile" electrons and holes that are free to conduct. For problem 3.d, the precision is that needed to reach within +/-2% of the final concentration.
Lab Sec 1 on Sept 17, Monday 12-3 is cancelled.
If you are in that section, you can go to any other sections
listed. Inform lab TA that you are from Sec 1. If you cannot make it to those
sections there is an open lab sec on Wed 2-5pm.
Prelab for Exp.2 is posted here. Just read the lab tips for Exp 2 and explain numerically why the error is 1%.
