Problem 1, parts b and c incorrectly state that the poles/zeros of the transfer function are those frequencies that bring H(jw) to inifnity/zero. Instead, you should look for the "break" frequencies in the numerator (for zeros) and the denominator (for poles). See the newsgroup for more details.
