1. Insert a 100 uH inductor in series with the 10k resistor
2. Place channel 1 of the oscilloscope at Vs and channel 2 at Vout
3. Display both waveforms on the oscilloscope. Sketch the waveforms and label all the relevant points.
4. Repeat with different resistor values—665 ohm, 200 ohm, 100 ohm, 50 ohm and “zero ohm”.
From your measurements, what is the resonant frequency of your circuit?
Which resistor values lead to an underdamped response (i.e., ringing)? Do your measurements agree with the predictions of the theory presented in Lecture 6?
