What was your academic path? (e.g. Did you live in the same town all your life or did you move around; and if so, where? Did you go to community college or another school before this one?) I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in a town just across the water from Seattle, WA. I came to Berkeley straight out of high school an haven't looked back! --> How much programming have you done (and what languages)? I've been noodling around with programming for almost ten years now, starting with small perl scripts and flash games in ActionScript, and Java in AP Computer Science. More recently I've developed interest in networking, the hardware/softare interface, and systems design. --> What are your hobbies? Outside of programming, I have a passion for rock climbing, video games ( Super Smash Bros. Melee ), and puzzle solving. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors around the Bay Area. --> What are some of your talents and skills? I can solve a Rubik's Cube in around 12 seconds on average with a personal best of 6.69 seconds! --> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you? (e.g. travel, meeting famous people, 15 min of fame, inventions, overcoming adversity, etc.) I got into Cal! Aside from that, one of my most memorable experiences is travelling to the Rubik's Cube World Championship in Las Vegas, where I was able to meet and hang out with the fastest speedcubers from Australia, the Netherlands, and the rest of the world. --> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term? (e.g. classes, jobs, family, commutes, volunteering, sports, student groups, etc.) On top of my duties as a TA for CS61C I will be taking classes at Berkeley and teaching a section of E98.
