Midterm 1 re-grades are due 10/8, that is, one week from now. Remember to attach a cover sheet to your midterm detailing the problem number and the issue you have with the score, and make sure you reference the official solutions where possible. You do not need to submit a grading complaint!

Midterm 1 is graded! Be sure to check your grade on glookup, as well
as look at the solutions (when they go up) in case you would like to
have a regrade done. Note: If you request a regrade, I will have to
re-check the entire exam, so be sure you've read the solutions
thoroughly!

How to submit your homework electronically
-
It looks like some servers (namely Cory that I've noticed) won't allow you to use emacs. This
is currently being looked into. In the meantime, please SSH into h50.cs.berkeley.edu
or solar.cs.berkeley.edu. Or, if you absolutely must use cory, try this command
instead (remove the quotes): "/usr/sww/bin/emacs"
-
The CSUA is hosting some very useful infosessions on emacs and Unix this coming Monday.
I highly recommend you check these out! More info
here.

Homework 1 is due next Tuesday at noon! Remember, you must make an online submission
as well as a paper submission! If you haven't gotten your readers yet, you can find
a copy of Homework 1 and Lab 1 attached to the end of your syllabus.
-
Your readers are only at the Copy Central on Hearst and Euclid. More info can be found
here. Also, don't
forget to buy a copy of the text book from the student store as well!
-
The guide for getting connected from your personal computer at home has been updated on the
main course page. Check it out here! Feel free to ask if
you still need more help.

A Little About Me...
I'm a 4th year CS Major. I have a lot of hobbies, many of which are overshadowed by my unholy
love of videogames and programming. But mostly videogames. I'm always happy to talk to students,
so never feel like you're bothering me (or any of the TA's for that matter). Like Professor
Harvey says, we enjoy teaching, so be sure to take advantage of what we have to offer.
