Sample Final (from 1999). There are
no guarantees about how much our final resembles this one. The project
that year was building a Java compiler.
One of you (Harry Hur) has suggested that
this
link might be helpful in understanding shift-reduce parsing
as done by Bison.
Documentation should now be (on-line)
for Bison, JBison, and Flex.
If you use a class (cs164-xx) account, the default version of Java
you'll get is JDK 5.0 (aka 1.5).
To submit questions about the homework or projects, please use the
bug-submit command. It works just like `submit'. First create
an extra file, called ERROR, containing a description of your
problem (what commands you type and what happens that shouldn't),
and then type `bug-submit proj1' (or whatever assignment you are
asking about). The command will automatically package all the
files in that directory and send them to us.
