Your grade is based on the percentage of points offered verses how may you have accumulated. Assignments and exams my be curved (normally to the student's advantage). The scale that translates your percentage into a letter grade is in the table below.

Your class participation is based on the number of participation points you accumulate over the whole term. See the syllabus for details.
