12-21-2004

Final grades have been sent to eGrades and glookup has been updated with project and group scores. While glookup has the points and weights used, it does not caculate the percentage correctly; manually caculate it based on Sum(score/max*weight). We used the following as a guideline to assign grades:

  • A+ [100,94)
  • A [94, 89)
  • A- [89, 88)
  • B+ [88, 84)
  • B [84, 82)
  • B- [82, 78)
  • C [78, 60)
12-11-2004

Please send along Team Evaluations for the final project to Ted, by noon on Monday (12/13). Thanks, and thanks again for working so hard this semester!

12-09-2004

Midterm 2 solutions are now available. [pdf]

12-07-2004

See this web page to learn how to apply for a TA position for next semester.

12-02-2004

Several New Xilinx Tutorials are now avaliable on the resources page.

11-18-2004

Slides for the three Advanced Processor lectures are all up. Also, the ISCA paper on optimal pipeline depth presented in the AP I lecture is available on the Resources page, as is the Hot Chips paper on the Power 5.

11-08-2004

Lab 5 (the final project) is out!

11-04-2004

Calendar updated to reflect new mid-term review session date (11/21) and new field trip date (11/30). Also note a new lecture for the old field trip date (11/18), and that the "Advice on Presentation's Lecture" has a new date (12/2).

11-02-2004

The problem list for Homework 4 is now frozen -- we have decided not to add extra problems on Leon to the homework. Homework 4 is due Wednesday, 11/10, no later than 5:00pm in the HW boxes in 283 Soda.

11-02-2004

The deadlines for Lab 4 have been modified. See the Lab 4 handout for details.
