Box Diversity Engineering Scholarship

What is it:

The Box Engineering Diversity Scholarship is an effort to create a more diverse engineering community through encouraging people of different backgrounds and varied life experiences to pursue careers as engineers. They are offering one $20,000 scholarship and four $5,000 schloarships, as well as a a trip to Box HQ for finalists on November 7-9, 2013.

Who should apply:

Current sophomores and juniors majoring in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related majors.

Freshmen Engineering Practicum

What is it:

Freshmen Engineering Practicum is a 12 week internship program at our Google Headquarters in Mountain View, CA. The program includes three main components: a software project, skills-based training, and professional development.

Who should apply:

Current freshmen majoring, or intending to major, in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering. Students who are a member of a group that is historically underrepresented in the technology industry are encouraged to apply.

Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship

The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship is open to current female students who are entering their senior year of undergraduate study or enrolled in a graduate program in the 2013-2014 academic year at a university in the United States or Canada.
Students should be enrolled in a computer science, computer engineering or a closely related technical program, and maintain a record of strong academic performance. Scholarship recipients will be awarded a $10,000 USD or $5,000 CAD award and will be invited to attend the annual Google Scholars' Retreat - a networking retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View in the summer of 2014.

Google Lime Scholarship

The Google Lime Scholarship for students with disabilities is open to students who are entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate study or enrolled in a graduate program in the 2013-2014 academic year at a university in the United States or Canada.
Students should be enrolled in a computer science, computer engineering or a closely related technical program, and maintain a record of strong academic performance. Scholarship recipients will be awarded a $10,000 USD or $5,000 CAD award and will be invited to attend the annual Google Scholars' Retreat - a networking retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View in the summer of 2013.
